Scenery/Natural Sights - Ras Um Sid, Sinai, Egypt [Coral Reef]

Back to Map

Visited: Early Mar

Ras Um Sid is my choice for best snorkelling location. The reef is accessible by swimming out from the beach and the reef edge drop-off is normally free of any strong currents. A wetsuit is probably best in the colder months. It's possible to snorkel around the near headlands for some further investigation of the area.
