Day Walks - Katherine Gorge (Canoe), Northern Territory, Australia

Back to Map

Visited: Mid Apr

A scenic and popular way to view Katherine Gorge is by canoe. In a day there's plenty of time to navigate a couple of the portages up to the third gorge. If you don't know what portage means then it's a good idea to check how much your canoe weighs before starting. The southern rockhole is a very pleasant place for a refreshing swim.
